Program Evaluation

The Master of Arts in Program Evaluation is designed to provide students with the practical skills and hands-on experience needed to begin a successful evaluation career. The program emphasizes professional development in:

  • Leading models and standards of professional evaluation practice
  • Quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method design and analysis for the evaluation context
  • Leading-edge dissemination and reporting strategies
  • Evaluation contracting and project management

As part of their coursework, students complete a two-semester practicum in which they work alongside evaluation practitioners in a professional setting to gain first-hand experience applying learning from their core courses.

All courses are fully online and taught by accomplished and respected evaluation professionals who work in diverse settings and bring real-world experience to the classroom.

The Department of Psychology is the primary administrative unit for this MA program.
