Undergraduate Minors

Academic Minors are designed for students to explore and strengthen their understanding of specialized fields of knowledge. Minors comprise sets of courses that may be linked thematically or that have an ethnic or international focus. Minors draw on classes in a variety of disciplines to provide concentrated clusters of knowledge that enhance undergraduate degree programs.

Minors normally require 15 to 24 credits and are noted on the student's undergraduate transcript. Students in any major are eligible to pursue Minors except within your own discipline.  For example an Sociology Major cannot pursue the Sociology Minor..

The College of Social Science offers numerous minors, although students may also pursue minors offered by other units in the University to complement their field of study.
