Director of Communications

Michelle Strobel is the director of communications for the College of Social Science at Michigan State University (MSU). She is responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive communications program to advance the mission and strategic direction of the social, behavioral, and economic sciences at MSU.

Prior to joining the College, Ms. Strobel served as special projects assistant to the President/CEO of High/Scope Educational Research Foundation, an international nonprofit organization headquartered in Michigan. Her prior experience includes work as a development officer at High/Scope and for the Providence Public School District in Rhode Island, and publications and alumni affairs work at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia. She holds a bachelor's degree in English and French from Marian College (Indianapolis, Indiana).
