Labor & Industrial Relations
Labor & Industrial Relations is a professional graduate program that integrates issues of employers, employees, and the workplace with an understanding of the legal system and organizational behavior. Areas of study include:
- Human Resource Management—recruiting and hiring, compensation and benefit systems, organizational development and planned change, training and development, quality of work life, human resource information systems
- Collective Bargaining—negotiating and administering collective contracts, grievance administration, arbitration, and conflict resolution
- Law and Labor Management Relations—equal employment opportunity and occupational health and safety
