Political Science
Political Science is the study of political institutions and processes in the United States and around the world, especially the study of governments, the law, international institutions, and public policy analysis. Areas of study include:
- American Government—political behavior, processes, and interactions in the United States
- Comparative Politics—political differences produced by historical, legal, and socioeconomic patterns around the world
- International Relations—interactions of political entities concerning war and peace, diplomacy, and foreign aid
- Political Science Prelaw—institutions and processes of government in preparation for law school
- Public Administration and Public Policy—political attention on issues in public and nonprofit sectors
- Political Thought—political theory and philosophy
