Orientation

At Michigan State University, new undergraduate students only are required to attend Academic Orientation Program (AOP). Graduate students should check with their major department for information on advising and enrollment procedures.

At AOP, new students meet with an academic advisor, plan a course schedule, and enroll for classes. Information is also provided on a variety of programs and options available at Michigan State (such as Honors College and Study Abroad).
