Center for Global Change and Earth Observations (CGCEO)
The Center for Global Change and Earth Observations (CGCEO) conducts research on the affects of human use of land on the environment, from local to global scales. Among other topics, the Center studies climate change, tropical deforestation, and loss of biodiversity. The Center develops and uses new tools of geographic information sciences, and disseminates information to decision makers, educators, and public policy makers.
