International Internships


Interested in taking your knowledge and hone your skills in an international setting? No problem! Engagement in experiences to enhance one's global awareness and competence can be achieved within the College of Social Science in numerous ways.

The College partners with Education Abroad and other Colleges to offer an array of opportunities; more than 15 International Internship programs as well as 50+ Faculty-Led programs and 25+ Co-Sponsored/Exchange programs that may also include an internship component.

Awareness and knowledge of global issues are no longer optional. Employers expect employees to be:

  • Savvy global thinkers
  • Cross-culturally competent
  • Skilled in using diverse resources and approaches to enhance productivity

 


This academic year, the College of Social Science's Office for Experiential Learning is partnering with internship providers to offer students the opportunity to participate in the Global Remote Internship Program. Students will enroll for a minimum of 3 internship course credits, engage in a virtual internship placement within an international organization, and develop professional and academic skills.
